In October 21 to 22, 2019, CARE PH had its second General Assembly, attended by Tumor Registrars and Doctor Champions (or their respective designates) of member hospitals nationwide. The event was held at Novotel Hotel, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. Day 1 was exclusively for ICD-10 training conducted by DOH trainers. Day 2, which was to give updates on what have transpired and CARE Philippines’ future plans, was graced by guest speakers from PhilHealth, President and CEO, Brigadier General Ricardo Morales; and from DOH, Assistant Secretary and Philippine Cancer Center interim Executive Director, Dr. Nestor Santiago. PhilHealth Senior VP, Dr. Ish Pargas, was also in attendance.
